Background: The spectrum of jaundice in pregnancy varies from a benign condition with good maternal and fetal outcome to severe form resulting liver failure mortality. Jaundice may complicate 3-5% pregnancies. Present study was aimed analyze the cause, course impact during so as have better understanding hence feto-maternal outcome. present various causes hepatic dysfunction pregnancy, pregnancies complicated by hematological function variables for predicting outcome.Methods: an observational conducted department obstetrics gynecology, Pt. JNM medical college associated Dr. BRAM hospital, Raipur (CG) over period 2 year September 2018 2020.Results: Total 0.72% were jaundice. HELLP syndrome commonest cause (36.7%), followed viral hepatitis (32.7%). Hepatitis E most common type (91.8%). Hemolytic presented best (maternal mortality rate 8.6%). Worst seen AFLP 100%). Best (live birth 67.6%), whereas worst noted (fetal death 66.6%). Higher total serum bilirubin, higher AST, anemia deranged INR had significant correlation mortality.Conclusions: are preventable yet it contributed proportion deaths 26.5 18.5% cases respectively. is often under diagnosed fulminant causing
